WE ARE PLANNING ON BUILDING A EVENT CENTER AT BLUFFS LANDING MARINA WE ARE CONSIDERING THIS, WHAT DO YOU THINK?
Well, I just returned from an amazing trip to the Rio Grande Rancho & Resort near Eagle Pass, Texas. The trip was hosted by my friend and our corporate sales representative for Bluff’s Landing Marina, Jimmy Cobb. We all arrived around 3:00 in the afternoon to freshly made margaritas and nachos. As we were enjoying our drinks and snacks, four white trucks start heading our way. I immediately notice the extra seats mounted all over the trucks. After getting a better look I could see there were seats mounted above the bed of the truck and on the grill. Off the sides hung our two “bird boys.” After everyone had time to meet and shake hands we were off. The Ranch stretched as far as one could see, with roads cut along every fence line. All of a sudden we started spotting quail and the hunt was on! Other than quail we saw plenty of deer and other wildlife. A javelina hog was taken the first day also. If you go to their website, www.riogranderancho.com, you can see how well the lodge is set up for fun and comfort. This place had it all; a pool, hot tub, poker room, skeet shooting, and much more. We were served three fresh meals a day which were all prepared onsite. Oh, and did I mention an open bar for your enjoyment!? We were able to do six hunts in three days and two nights without covering the same ground twice. The trip was very safe and well organized by the onsite General Manager Roger Saracho and the Operations Manager Luis Garcia. Both men were very helpful and met all of our needs. We returned with three ice chests full of quail. What more could you ask for? If you want to go on a great hunting trip in Mexico give the guys at Rio Grande Rancho a call! The phone number to Rio Grande Rancho & Resort is (830) 773-4444. Please visit their website: www.riogranderancho.com
